Over hell or high water (even both at the same time) I am going to a convention this year!!! I've even been offered finanical support from mom (which i refuse to take part in no matter how much she tries to wear me down!!!). I've done the pricing and have researched the preperations... as soon as tickets and booths go on sale for Sugoicon 08, you can expect me to be buying!

i've just got a few questions for veterans of cons... ESPECIALLY THE ONES WHO HAVE BEEN TO SUGOICON IN FORT MITCHELL KY!

1.) do they allow the selling of ORIGINAL FANART?
2.) So that I know what to expect... setting up the booth... do they allow the users or booth holders to show up early to set up, or do i have to wait for the doors to open?
3.) Pricing, I plan on selling Bookmarks, Prints, and Keychains. I've done some tallying on how much it'll take for me to make one of each (to get an idea on what kind of proffit I should add), and I'm just curious on how much a con visitor would pay for something... I don't want to sell this stuff dirt cheap (lord knows it takes forever to make them). I just want some ideas on things...
4.) BUTTON SELLERS... how do you acomplish the button manufacturing? do you order them, do you make them? do you have a button maker or something? how do you make multiples by printing them? is there certain paper I should buy? I'm highly interested in this.
5.)IMPORTANT!!! Do i require a vending permit to sell my artwork?

okay... those are the questions... LOL... sorry I'm just highly interested on knowing the specs... i want to be prepared as much as i can so that no loose ends.

and for the record also, If something happens to Sugoicon like Zakyucon (which canceled), I'll be making preperations to attend Tsubasacon in Huntington WV instead.
