Please Note: the pic that I used for it, its almost done... as soon as I get the finished product, I'll post it so dont start buggin me about it LOL :D

As for the Tutorial, a couple of years ago I posted a tutorial about digital painting.. a lot of people liked it, but I was looking at it the other day and It was EXTREEMLY outdated... so I went for this little number
you can see just how much my technique has changed by going to this link: [link]

Just me giving back to the community.
The characters are of course Young Kakashi and Young Toshi, back when they had more than one opporntuity to kill one another... ah how some of life's strongest friendships begin LOL... not that I'm saying that the two of them are friends or anything... they cant even stay in the same room together without barking at one another LOL :D

Oh well enough w/ my rambeling

Kakashi is (c) to his owner
Toshi is mine, don't reproduce this, I'm putting this up here for your benifit... I can easily take it down as I have put it up! :D

Thank You
Your Friendly Neighborhood Jennster! :D

That neutral-layer-under-the-outlines step has always been very helpful to me. It's hard to be sure I've got the eyes all colored in otherwise.

I was gonna ask you how you do your shading anyway, it's always so PERFECT O.o Well the secrets out now. I LOVE the pose, so I'm looking forward to seeing it finished!

I'd love to see you do a background tutorial sometime, or something of the sort.

Very spiffen job, it's gonna come in loads of handy >3

cool. i never knew you drew directly into PS. DO you use magnify when you draw at all? Like what size canvas are you most comfortable drawing with, thats what I found difficult. Nice tutorial though, didnt know that about the sharpen filter. For shading I set the blending effect to soft light or overlay, that gets a nice shadow without touching opacity. :)

yea I zoom in to maybe 200 percent... I dont zoom in too much because I draw small, The pic up there is the original 100, I didn't make it bigger or smaller.
